I left my house today at 7. I came back at 7. I spent the whole day (minus lunch) at training. Today is Saturday. Isn’t life good. Yea, whatever. When we came back for lunch, everyone was sleeping at the stadium steps so I took 3 balls and practiced taking goal kicks using the width of the field. Since everyone was sleeping, after I kicked 3 times, I had to jog across to the other end of the field, get the balls and kick them in the opposite direction. Despo huh. At least I can further and higher than I ever could, so that’s an improvement right there.

Nevertheless, I always worry after training.. especially since I’ve -fine, we’ve- been training so hard- and we refers to the few of us who were chosen at last year’s trials to train with the team 2-3 months before JC even began- and it’s painful too.. the diving drill(s) with the soon becoming full-time goalkeeping coach Mr Luke Lu are bruising and tiring, even with the diving mat (seriously, it’s like diving onto a biggg sack of rice) being used before we train diving on normal, crusty, chao-tar grass. I mean, yea- we’ve practically given our holidays to soccer while everyone’s been working, slacking, complaining how stupidly boring the holidays are- stuff like that. And that’s why it’ll TOTALLY suck if I -and well, the other 4 of us- don’t make the 25-man A division squad.

Southampton lost 3-0. Haha. At least they were mentioned in the Straits Times for the first time since 2003. That’s 5 long years+ a little more than a week. Only problem’s that the only reason why they were mentioned was because they had to mention who Man U pummeled in the FA Cup. Lalala. Fantastic right? Out of the FA Cup, and 23rd out of 24th in the Coca Cola Championship. Hmmmmmm.

Tomorrow there’s a match against Tampines JC! And school’s about to start… next wednesday… life won’t just be about training, eating and sleeping. It’ll be about training, eating, sleeping and… school. Roarrr.

This photo is interestingly cool! Managed to take it at 211 Henderson when I went to some warehouse sale. Yup. I swear, the only image editing I did was straightening the photo!

Haha, and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day have both come and gone in a flash. Somehow, it doesn’t seem very special this year. It’s like the celebrations were somewhat forced, celebrations for the sake of celebrations- that kind of thing. Needless to say, my younger sis and I did a jigsaw puzzle and I “celebrated” by cooking instant noodles at 1am in the morning.

I have new boots though! According to Jie Hao, we’re only allowed to wear adidas boots during competition since adidas is our sponsor. o__O yea. Anyway, I’ve got a nice pair of predator absolions, they’re red, black and white and super nice (and pretty expensive too). Hope they bring me luck tomorrow! Apparently we’re playing against an ex-RJ team. So, yea. Roar.

Meanwhile, I’m still contemplating between Lotto twistngo Zhero and adidas predator boots! Can’t remember which model the adidas one is but it’s the bluish, reddish, darkish one. Haha. The lotto one costs $135 and the adidas one costs $15something. Sighh. Both prices are equally killer. Okay I guess they’re fair. But still, what to do D: Not sure which I should try since I’ve tried neither models ever!

ZOMG. Double training tomorrow.
